On Thursday, January 5, 2017 the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office launched their Facebook page. Friday afternoon four photos of persons that had felony warrants for their arrest were featured on the page. Three of the four subjects profiled have been arrested from information received through Facebook.
Friday evening the office received information on one of these subjects. This information indicated that Jerry Whisler Jr. would be on an Amtrak train traveling from Kansas City to Sedalia, MO. Sedalia Police were contacted and they were able to arrest this individual at the Amtrak station. Whisler Jr.’s warrant is for Failure to Appear on Dangerous Drugs, NO BOND.
Saturday Morning information was received regarding another wanted subject, Zeus Radcliff. A possible address in Blue Springs Mo was obtained and sent to that police department. Blue Springs was unable to locate Radcliff at that address but they were provided with another possible address in Independence, MO. Independence Police checked that location and were able to arrest Radcliff. This warrant is for Non-Support with a cash bond of $61,000.
Saturday evening deputies with the Morgan County Sheriff’s office acted on information received concerning Kenyon Dubois. Deputies arrived at a residence on highway MM in Morgan County. Upon arrival Dubois was observed outside the residence and ran inside the house. Dubois was taken into custody. A second subject fled out the back door of the house and was detained after a short foot pursuit. Consent to search the residence was granted by the resident of the house. Approximately 15 grams of methamphetamine was discovered. Steven Uber has been charged with Delivery of a Controlled Substance and is being held on a $50,000 bond. A third person inside the residence was also arrested on a warrant from Macon County.
